……..jazzanova for everything they do. kevin o’malley cause god is good & he is kevin o’malley. colm kenefick for gifting us the ‘hello kenny’ re-edit of chic’s ‘i want your love’. it will get played this week, and next, and likely for the foreseeable future. and you will dance. you may not realise it yet, but there’ll be nuthin’ you can do about it. for example, i’m listenin to it now, i’m dancin to it now, in the office, with only coffee for a step-partner, at 34 minutes past 9 in the jaysus mornin.

kinda can’t believe alex barck’s comin this weekend. it’s crept up on us a bit, and all of a sudden there’s a jazzanova on a plane, in the country and in the house. thursday, friday, saturday. dublin, limerick, galway. soul, funk, house. girls, boys, dancefloors. simple. lovely. see you soon……?

so we’re stuck into some summer plannin. answer a question for me will ya……any interest in stayin in/comin to limerick for the august bank holiday weekend? just checkin, cause we’ve got a few thoughts. quick count on the fingers……may june july, yip, that’s 3 months, oceans of time to put together the first release party weekender. maybe three days & nights of releasin, on the streets and under the sun. so hit us back with tiny thoughts on whether this sounds like the bones of a party we should put together & maybe who you’d like to see playin records, flippin burgers & servin cocktails (best address for suggestions & wishes is thereleaseparty@eightball.ie, we’re all ears). if it is, we’ll get to work. we love work!
