In little more than a year, American stand-up Reginald D Hunter has established himself as one of the most sought after headline comics in the UK. He arrived in the UK from Georgia two years ago to seek fame and fortune as an actor, and swiftly landed a place at RADA. The theatre’s loss was comedy’s gain however as the lure of the freedom of stand up comedy proved irresistible.

Like many from the “land of the free”, Reg exudes a natural, easy self confidence, but with an intensely likeable, respectful side that is impossible to ignore either on stage or in person. From the start, Reg was the sort of natural storyteller that audiences would happily listen to for hours, he has now combined this with quality laughs which will stand up to any gag merchant. Word is spreading fast, but you really have to see Reg’s consummate style in the flesh to get the full effect.
